Training & practice
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Imran Khan Yusafzai founded Smile Line Dental Practice in 2013 with the intention of building something Islamabad did not really have at the time: a single practice where a patient could see a genuine specialist for whatever they needed, rather than being referred across the city.
He qualified with a BDS from Khyber College of Dentistry and went on to complete an MSc in Oral Pathology at the University of London. Alongside clinical practice he holds an associate professorship, and much of how the practice works — the diagnostic rigour, the insistence on planning a case fully before touching a tooth — comes directly from that academic background.
His own clinical work centres on dental implants, orthodontics and clear aligners, and on full smile makeovers where those disciplines have to be sequenced together.
